Reading workshop.

In the red zone I would build a bridge across the river near the boat shed because  every time I see the swans I always want to go across the river but there's no bridge that is so annoying. Black swans they are always so kind and gentle and I would build a steel and You could if your lucky spot a fish in the river. Willow trees glistening dropping into the water that's why we should have a bridge in the red zone. You walk your dog smelling new smells dogs meeting dogs just so nice and peaceful with fruit trees and bridges that live in the red zone.

Pa's conceited to each other using co-ordinates.

We need to create our own google map. So I did one in the land and one in the water. The one in the water is 12 km.

The path  going through  land is 74 km and the way to the pa is South South East. But their is other ways to get to this pa. I'm not use to google maps so it took me a little time to find out it how to use it. You can go other ways to the pa like I said before we can  connect the pa's together with co-ordinates but how will you find your way back  to the pa you  walked away from. Sometimes their is battles and you have to travel so quickly and help the people attack the people that are trying to brake in. You need to remember what way you came and don't get lost because all sea looks the same. If you are in the pa in Kaiapoi  you can travel by Waka or  you can walk through land. You can go either but what way but if you lived in Kaiapoi what way would you chose I would chose water and travel in a Waka. what would you chose?

A pa is the place to be.

A pa is the place to be.

A pa is a gated building that keeps children in and unwanted people out there are under ground tunnels that lead you to the other side of the river. Big tall fences  so high no one can clime up unless they have a ninja hook. But I dought that. But a pa keeps nabers out but a pa is a normal house but with some different fetchers.

Pa's they our still out there if you want one bye now they are still out there. A pa is a Maori house with fences gates to keep nosy people out and kids safe inside the gates. Fresh cut grass a nice new kitchen bigger better new rooms you have to get used to the new smell that makes your brain think. One nice deep blue sea  that has big waves. With big glass windows when you want to be in your old house and all you friends are taken away from you think off the new friends that you are going to meet. Under ground tunnels  dark you would need a torch to get to the beach big tall walls  to keep children in and unwanted people out. There is a pa that is just where family belongs and feels safe at home.

Pa writting

Pa’s can be different shapes and sizes what is a pa you ask well when there were no houses and the Maori made houses with fences all around to keep their children safe. Here is what a Pa would look like.

Pa maths.

A Pa is a Maori house that are protected by walls. That have underground tunnels. That are 5m and the walls are 10m. The wall that protects from the top and it’s about 20m when you and your famely go to a pa you will see what I maths this is what a Pa wolud look like.

Ruth Elizabeth Becker

 Ruth Elizabeth Becker

Ruth Elizabeth Becker (October 28th, 1899 - July 6th, 1990) was a Second Class passenger of the Titanic. She survived the sinking and became one of the last survivors to die.

She was the daughter of American Lutheran missionary Allen Oliver Becker and his wife, Nellie. A younger brother, Luther, was born in Lima, Ohio, in March 1905, but died on February 7th, 1907 in Guntur just before his second birthday. In December 1907, Nellie gave birth to a second daughter, Marion. A son, Richard, was born in June 1910 at Kodaikanal.

In early 1912, Richard contracted an illness in India, and Nellie decided to take him, Ruth, and Marion to Benton Harbor, Michigan to seek treatment for him. Richard got the illness and Nellie decided to sail from India to England with him, Ruth, and Marion leaving Allen behind. They boarded the Ellerman Line steamer City of Benares for a trip to England that started at Madras, went through the Suez Canal to Port Said, through the Mediterranean, through the Strait of Gilbraltar, and finally up to London.

Ruth boarded the Titanic at Southampton. She was travelling with Nellie, Marion, and Richard from India to Benton Harbour, Michigan (Ticket #230136, £39).

Ruth later recalled that after the collision a steward initially told Nellie, "We've had a little accident. They're going to fix it, and then we'll be on our way." While the boats were loaded a steward placed Marion and Richard in Lifeboat 11, and then said, "That's all for this boat! Lower away!", at which Nellie pleaded to be

While the boats were loaded a steward placed Marion and Richard in Lifeboat 11, and then said, "That's all for this boat! Lower away!",at which Nellie pleaded

Malnutrition allowed in as well, saying, "Please! Those are my children! Let me go with them!" She was allowed in but Ruth was left behind, at which point Nellie screamed, "Ruth! Get in another boat!" She eventually got into Lifeboat 13 with the help of Sixth Officer Moody.

After the sinking, Ruth gave her blanket to one of the stokers, who only had on a sleeveless shirt and shorts for working down in the coal bunkers, and was now shivering in the night air.

After the Carpathia arrived in New York, Nellie told the reporters at Pier 54, "Don't ask me anything. Ask Ruth, she'll tell you everything."

After the disaster Ruth attended high school and college in Ohio, after which she taught high school in Kansas. She married a former classmate, Daniel Blanchard, and had three children who were named Jennie, Richard, and Roger Allen. After their divorce twenty years later, she resumed her teaching career. In the years after the disaster she refused to talk about the Titanic, and her own children, when young, did not know that she had been on board. However, after her retirement, when she was living in Santa Barbara, California she began speaking about it, granting interviews, and attending conventions of the Titanic Historical Society. In March 1990, she made her first sea voyage since 1912, a cruise to Mexico. She died later that year at the age of ninety. Her ashes were scattered over the spot where the Titanic lies. This is The Queen of England I hate how we are doing all this war and I would think anyone is allowed in New Zealand. Are soldiers are really tired and we should just share the land and be grateful for what we have. We should live in world peace with the earth and stop fighting between us to countries because this is the only planet we have and we are fitting with stink bombs and gadgets that it is hurting the earth. I know you guess fond it first but are famous sailor captain Cook has travelled the world with his crew and wants such a peaceful country but we can’t do it without you New Zealanders we need to bring peace between us to countries and look after them it won’t be the same if we don’t. So please help your countries with it troubles. Are you going to help the earth? Do you want to sine the treaty of Waiting?
