Birds

Penguins swim but don’t fly and there are 17 different types. There are 13 types in NZ.
They have no feathers on their wings. 



Habitat

Is a home for penguins. Penguins are found in NZ, Australia, south america and Antarctica
and sometimes sleep in the sea.


Nesting

Is when they find a mate and lay their eggs. They make their nests out of rocks.
Some make their nests in bushes and holes in the ground.
homing is looking after their babies and protecting their babies from danger.



Dangers

Their enemies are Killer whales, Sharks and Seals. Large gull’s try to take their eggs and babies.

    Great work on your facts about penguins! Could you please repost it by doing Ctrl Shift V as it has run off the page and I can't read all of your amazing facts. I found it interesting that they make their nests out of rocks but I guess they have adapted to their environment and that is what is available to make nests out of in the places they are found. What fact did you enjoy the most about them?
