My Great great great grandma and Grandad lived in the UK they came on a ship to NEW Zealand they where very brave to do that was 200 years a go.

ReplyDeleteIt is great to hear that your Great Great Great Grandma and Grandad were brave enough to travel to New Zealand!
Back in the older times, travelling to another country did not just take a couple of days like it does now. A boat ride from the United Kingdom to New Zealand would have taken many, many days rather than the few hours it only takes us now!
There also would have been quite a few obstacles which would have made the trip to New Zealand hard like bad weather, scurvy, and even pirates!
Facing your fears and being brave can be extremely hard things to do, and not everyone can do them. Sometimes all it takes is for one person to be brave enough to do something new, and everyone else to follow suit.
