Top team!

On Friday we had top team at school. Some of the activities were sack races, tic tack toe, a type of mini golf and water activities and I forgot my spare clothes and towel. My team won every game I felt like. Have you ever done top team at your school? It was such a great day!

Ferrymead

First we jumped on the bus. When we arrived we got told all the rules we went and got changed in some old fashion clothes.The girls wore a dress, a apron and a hat. We looked like maids. We got a kiwiana. We had to write an apple a day keep the doctor away and he said dismiss. When a boy was talking the teacher said horrid child and there were single seats and 3 to a seat. I was 3 to a seat we sat in silence till he said go all of you and never come back.

We need food. People are looting and breaking my shop windows. My kids have flour bags for clothes and they hate it. Please give us food, clothes and money. Our children are skinny because of you they are sick and hungry. Please I can't see my kids like this anymore because they have gone to a home. We can’t just give are kids bred all the time they are already tired of it. We have to go to soup kitchens for food,  but we only get a little bit of food. I only get to see my kids once a month. I can’t see my kids like this anymore, I have to give them a little bit of food all the time. It just have to stop and you can't treat New Zealand family's  like this.  PLEASE HELP

Back in time

Back before I was born there were very strict schools. Back then they used the cane and the strap. So if you get one of those don't tell your Mum and Dad. If you do they might try it on you. So never tell your parents! Did you know my dad nearly got the strap? They would be chatty, misbehaving and copying each other. But when my Dad went to school when kids got the cane or the strap they cried. If you cried out loud you got another one. if someone else was getting it and they laughed at you, you would get it eight times harder.

The Museum

We had a field trip on Monday at the Museum in town  and it was  the best!. I've loved learning about history for a very long time. It was way different back in the olden days  compared to now. It wasn't that long ago that there were no living beings and no schools and they made their own medicines  out of  plants which  the elderly who had to try it first. After that we went out side and played in the giant tree in the Botanical Gardens.

Winter sport.

In winter sport I have been doing football for this seson. I do all or the positions. We have won once. it tacks a long time to get a goal. It was annoying on the first day my shinpades falled off. And they where super fast.

I have learnt that I am powerful and that I can kick a ball very far. I can kick a ball super far. I enjoyed my team because they were good at sportsman ship and we all had fun. We laughed a lot because Matias is funny and jokes about.

Next time, I would like to practice more.

What winter sport do you play?

Kailey in Hawaii

My step sister Kaliy got on an airplane to Hawaii. Hawaii is a place with palm trees and beautiful beaches and they also have amazing shows. At night here do you know it is night in Hawaii and it is day time here? When it is night in New Zealand it’s day time there. It’s like you’re in a toaster. They have tropical flowers and they drink from a coconut and do dancing with grass skirts. I have always wanted to go there but it costs a lot of money to go to that place.
